This video is awesome.! I liked how he made the tennis girl come to life from the newspaper! She actually looked real. Another thing I liked was how he doesn't have to use intructions on paper. All he had to do was point his phone toward the router and it would show him how to hook it up! Another awesome thing Matt did was when he made the T-Rex come to life! Then he pretended to be scared of it.! Another thing that was cool was when he made the little kids come to life. The kids were using the device and were totally amazed by it. The last thing that I thought was awesome was how he pointed his phone toward his picture and made the audience come to life. All together, the video was awesome! I would love to try all this out myself.!

Seth Godin: What is School For?
How would you like to learn?
I'd like to learn by using technology instead of pencil and paper. Technology shows your imagination better than on paper. Pencil and paper is so boring and dull. You can't add color to it or anything creative.!
What would you like to be taught?
I'd like to be taught how to do more math. I'm learning some of it now but I could always use more of it. Just because you learn one thing doesn't mean your going to keep it that way, you will always learn more about that one thing. Another reason I want to learn more math is because we will always need it in life.! That is what I want to be taught!

Blog 11; John Maeda
"How can art, technology, and design be combined to influence creative
leaders?"
Art, technology, and design can be combined to influence creative leaders because if we didn't have these things we wouldn't be creative. Art makes us creative leaders because it asks questions that might not be answerable. An example of this is The Endo Lawrence Nature Lab because it has 80,000 examples of bones and minerals. Technology makes us creative leaders because it makes us have possibilites in life. And design makes us creative leaders because it makes us have solutions to anything we want to do.

Define and explain which learning style said that you prefer.
The learning style said that I prefer is visual. This means that the teaching lesson uses ideas, concepts, data and other images are associated with images.
On Thursday we discussed AUGMENTED REALITY. How is AUGMENTED REALITY being used in the classroom. CLICK HERE FOR EDUDEMIC AUGMENTED REALITY *Editor's Note: This is one of my ALL-TIME favorite websites.
After you've read through the article, list the five AR websites that interest you the most, describing them briefly (You may cut and paste the information from Edudemic):
1. QR Scavenger Hunts- Smartphones equipped with a QR code reader make for optimal tools when sending students on scavenger hunts across the classroom or school. The Daring Librarian, Gwyneth Anne Bronwynn, sends kids on an augmented reality, animated voyage through the library to figure out where to find everything and whom to ask for assistance
2. Geotagging- Classrooms with smartphone access blend Google Earth and web albums such as Picasa or Instagram for a firsthand experience in geotagging and receiving a visual education about the world around them. More collaborative classrooms — like those hked together with Skype or another VOIP client – could use this as a way to nurture cross-cultural, geopolitical understanding.
3. Project Glass- One of the most ambitious augmented reality initiatives comes straight from Google, who believes its Project Glass holds potential far beyond the classroom. Notoriously, it requires a pair of glasses versus the usual smartphones and laptops, and current experiments involve placing users in first-person extreme athletic experiences, snapping photos, and more.
4.Driver's Ed- Toyota teamed up with Saatchi & Saatchi to deliver the world’s cleanest and safest test-drive via augmented reality. While the method has yet to catch on in the majority of driver’s education classes, it definitely makes for an impressive, effective alternative to keeping and maintaining a fleet of cars.
5. Occupational Safety Scaffolding- Professor Ron Dotson’s Construction Safety students receive a thorough education in establishing safe scaffolding space through three-dimensional demonstrations incorporating the real and the digital alike. A simple application of AR, to be certain, but one undoubtedly possessing the potential to save lives and limbs alike
Choose three of the above websites from above and paste their featured links here:
(Name website) (USE LINK BUTTON in BLOG TOOL FEATURE!)
1.Occupational Safety Scaffolding
2.QR Code Quest Scavenger Hunt
3.Geotagging
Of the three websites that you choose to feature, which of them do you find the most beneficial to learning in the classroom with AR? Explain why you choose the site you did! (This is a two step question, answer both parts!)
The one I find the most beneficial is the Occupational Safety Scaffolding to learning in the classroom. I choose this site because it shows you three demensional figures to do with a bunch of different objects.
Take a screenshot of the AR site that you liked the most and paste it here (ask a classmate if you do not remember how to do this - NETWORK!). Save the picture to your H-drive first, the use the BLOG tool PICTURE to post it.
Had difficulties with the baracuda coming up on my computer so couldn't do the screen shot.
The last think you'll need to do today is check out this link: HOW MUCH WOOD WOULD A WOOD CHUCK CHUCK IF..
Just kidding. After you've looked at the list of TED TALK lectures, list five that you would be interested in viewing in an upcoming class video/discussion forum.
1. Benjamin Zander on Music and Passion
2. David Gallo shows underwater astonishments.
3.Edith Widder: The weird, wonderful world of bioluminescence.
4. Keith Barry does brain magic
5. Amy Purdy: Living Beyond Limits
